People’s insistence on using Discord and Telegram is annoying

We already know Discord and its clones are the cancer killing the internet, so I won’t get into that. I also understand why normies use it (low IQ and dopamine starved). What confuses me is why anyone who has been banned from those platforms continues to use it. I always see people get banned and go, “Fuck, Discord banned my server. Gotta make a new one.” No, you don’t.

What’s wrong with making or joining a forum instead? At least then you won’t lose all your data because of some seething admin that decides to nuke your server for an edgy meme. “We won’t get as much engagement,” who cares. The people who primarily use chatrooms are not worth engaging with anyway.

I tried making a Ventrillo server but no one joined. This is what we used to game back in the day... was awesome.

Discord has voice chat, forums do not. You cannot game and communicate via forum bro... also I communicate with many clients via discord for business because it's faster and easier than e-mail. A forum wouldn't work for that either...
