Debunking Sandy Hook mega thread

If my memory is being good today, Lanza took up DDR as a great fixation of his recreational time in part because he had a rare issue with his head that reduced his sensitivity to pain, causing his body to be able to endure extreme levels of exertion without any physical fatigue, and so he’d be seen at local DDR stations in arcades or movie theaters dancing for hours non-stop almost every day, which allowed him to get really good at it. Here's a video of him playing it in a theater.
Additionally, I recall reading that he had a DDR machine at home that he'd play at least once every morning right after waking up. He's said to have had a lot of peculiar hobbies. I'm pretty sure that, prior to the shooting, he also studied Esperanto and practiced the erhu (a Chinese string instrument, kind of like a violin, here's an example) in his free time.
Has any reason been given as to why he keeps his arms glued to his sides?

Not that I know of, but I'd imagine that the answer would be that he was just a weird feller.

Same reason his eyes were practically always so wide, even when he was little.

This is a fascinating evidence video I found this morning of a deputy apparently documenting evidence at the Lanza residence with a video camera (this is claimed to have been filmed after the initial raid, as is implied by a damaged garage door and some other signs of ruckus from within the building). One interesting object shows up at the 19:08 timestamp, being the hard drive that is said to have been destroyed by Lanza before the shooting. Other notable things that are shown include unopened packages and mail addressed to Nancy Lanza, an individual, unspent bullet cartridge on a room's carpet floor, a gun safe that was left open, an opened computer (Adam's, where the hard drive came from), and an empty box of disposable earplugs used for firearm hearing protection.
Near the end of the video, a substantial amount of footage is redacted as the deputy films a few of the upstairs rooms, like Adam's mother's bedroom. I'm assuming that the justification for some of this redaction could have to with the narrative that Lanza shot his mother to death in her bedroom while she was sleeping.

Interesting to note the bank that seized his home burned down everything you see in that video.
