ASGDFADF I WILL HAVE A SOY OVERDOSE IF THIS KEEPS UP *collapses and dies of soy induced heart-attack after announcement*
On a serious note, I am going to wait to see if it is actually good first. If it is actually good, I will sell my Nintendo Switch 1 for the Switch 2, since I am not too interested in homebrewing it only to gain basically nothing. Otherwise, I will just keep my switch 1, which is from Christmas 2017 and thus easily hackable. It is best to not get a console, only for it to be significantly worse than the last. 256GB internal storage + microSD card support is useful at least, so I could get a 2TB microSD for stuff like updates if it is good. But we'll see, I don't have that much hope for it. If it is good, I will wait to see if Switch 1 game cartridges get resold for very low on sites like eBay, since the Switch 2 will be compatible with the old switch 1 games. With actual good memory storage, it will be way easier to actually store things even if I don't use a microSD at least.
Switch 1, now that I think about it, lasted from March 2017 to April 2025 before a new console released. Can't say I am surprised it lasted longer than Wii U's measely 4 years of lifespan, but regardless, 8 years out of one console surprises me given its specs, even for Nintendo.
