3D Soynic is universally regarded as crap. I’ve never heard a person say Sonic Colors is better than something like Galaxy.

2D Soynic is slightly better and more comparable to 2D Mario, but I’ll still take Mario 3 and World over Sonic 1-4 any day.

Besides, in Sonic the speed mechanic is useless because you’re constantly stopping to do precise jumps, waiting for environmental hazards, or running into objects. Mario has little of this and you can just run through the level uninterrupted if you’re skilled enough.
