When I was 16, the advice received was that I should "find more female friends". And I was terrified of even talking girls back then. But eventually I got over that anxiety. I had many femoid friends at that point. And only like 3 male friends I talked to regularly. It got so bad, that people who didn't know me thought that I was gay or a fuckboy. LOL.

Ofc, it didn't lead to me swimming in pussy. Now when I tell people my origin story(the part where my former oneitis kept using me for rebound while financing chad's trip to japan), the advice I receive is that I should prioritise my male friendships. And I see the culture shifting towards it as well. While movies in the past had stories where shy guys who didn't have a girlfriend, slowly befriend a foid and date her, or a douchebag chad slowly learning humanise foids and learn to love her, modern movies which men are told to watch, just tells men to careermaxx or to form bromances. Bromances are celebrated. Which imo is super gay.

I'm not saying this to make a case for roping.
I'm asking why should I as a curry not rope?
I'm 5'9", almost 5'10", but that's all I got going for me. I'm balding and have to do monthly PRPs to keep my hair from falling. I'm 29, and KHHV. I have PTSD and schizophrenia due to childhood bullying. I'm currently a NEET with occasional freelance work. And I have to diet and workout like hell to keep from putting weight.

Sex is off the table.

Food comes close. But I can't do it every day. I have to eat clean. And eat clean makes me feel like shit. LOL. If I eat chicken, then I tend to gain an entire kilo the next day. JFL. Same with anything like Cake. So I have to eat grains and fish which taste like shit. And I don't enjoy exercising. There are other things I would rather do instead with that time.

Most copes nowadays are woke as shit. And will be for some time now, even though the pendulum has begun to turn. In the case of video games, I like singleplayer ones, and there hasn't been that many good ones that I like. Most like Alan Wake 2 and Control have been DEIfied. Retro PC games are hard to get running on modern hardware. Buying retro games is super expensive. Rereleases are DEIfied.

That leaves comics, novels and films.

Everything that came post 2013 is garbage. But that leaves a huge backlog. HOWEVER said backlog is mostly made up of repetitive generic slop. This wouldn't be a problem, but there's a reason these kinds of content aren't made today. We have spent nearly a century perfecting writing styles, cinematography and storytelling. So unless you're into a specific niche, then a lot of old content is gonna be boring.

I can still get something out of Film Noir because I was introduced to it through max payne. And even though I watch it. If these films had come out when I was alive, I wouldn't have watched most of them. They're products of their time. And it shows.

Used to be, even if you were a loser, you could come home from woke and then spend about 6 hours with your copes before you go to bed.

That's no longer an option.

PS2 and OG Xbox emulation still aren't perfect. Besides, a lot of games had better PC ports. The original far cry for example had more content on PC, but the console ports all had some stripped.
