One of the ways they make profit is by keeping people sick, they will overprice essential drugs for poor people so they can enslave them with debt (all companies do this just even more dark how big pharma does it). Another way is they over prescribe addictive drugs such as opioids so people will get addicted to them and in turn the companies can make a profit. Pharmacists, Therapists, and more are apart of this global problem.

there are some supposed “solutions” to this problem. We could regulate these companies and force them to keep prices down, we can also stop people getting over perscribed with drugs they don’t need. You can attempt to get your government to nationalize your healthcare and this would prevent unelected private companies from neglecting healthcare for profit. Or lastly you could rearrange healthcare structure and purge all the corrupt officials controlling it, again this is the hardest.
