Because they’re fun? Why would I play “adult” games like RPGs or shooters that take hours to get going when platformers are fun from the first minute?

Good RPGs aren't too long, you must've mistaken good rpgs with grinding fesf fatlus jrpg slops. Fallout 1 only takes 8-10 hours and most of the good ones I've played can be done in 30 hours.

Kirby is a great man, he is a hero. We all respect Kirby here, and even the more darker characters like Meta Knight and King Dedede. Kirby is pure of heart.
Kirby also solos many verses, he's cracked ability-wise and has insane feats. That's why he outruns this weird thing while everyone else perishes. Because Sakurai loves his GOAT kirby.
