I don't really want to get into it too much since I'm still trying to get past it emotionally, but, to still give you an answer, it wasn't any sort of terrible rift between her and I that caused it. In fact, her and I are still friends. It was just the busyness of high school and the fact that her parents didn't like her being romantically involved that "caused it."

1 Corinthians 6:18 says, "Flee from sexual immorality." Hebrews 13:4 makes it even clearer: "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge." Nowhere does Scripture say, “It’s fine as long as you really love each other.”
