It's not only Turkey. The pages of history will record that Pakistan is one of the world's nuclear powers, but not a single bomb was dropped to protect Gaza.
The Nile River has been flowing through Egypt for centuries, giving life to the African deserts. Yet right next to that, the children of Gaza were lying on the ground, shivering with thirst. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates were luxurious empires floating on a sea of oil, but the ambulances in Gaza were standing on the streets, silent and helpless, without gasoline.
Countless eyes were looking at Türkiye with the highest hopes and expectations. Busy with dreams of leadership, the spokesman of the 'Ummah'. But they did nothing for Gaza. No logistical support, no military cooperation, no diplomatic aggression to ensure security. Nothing.
Muslims around the world had five million soldiers, tanks, missiles, warplanes, satellites, intelligence forces, modern technologies, and even hydrogen atom bombs; but not a single shadow fell on the sky of Gaza. No one walked towards Gaza. Everything will remain in history indeed.
