were an expatriate desiring a place with a proper social structure, I wouldn't want to move to a country that has been bombarded so heavily by the West with USAID-reinforced globo-homo, as pretty as its landscapes may be, or as neat as its culture
once was. I'm not the most knowledgeable of specifically Tunisia's case, but this topic does remind me a bit of this old video of a Tunisian (and presumably Salafist) munshid (Islamic poet-singer, basically) who recited a poem on television about his resentment of the ongoing social degeneration there. I'd imagine the Arab Spring struck their society badly.
