Putting together a practical guide to online privacy

How secure do you think Proton products are? They operate in Switzerland and offer encryption for emails.
Apparently they leak ips to feds. There was a nationalist in Spain that got arrested because he shitposted online and Proton handed over the logs. Fucking annoying how we have to walk on eggshells for every little thing.

I had a Hotmail email and have a two ProtonMail emails. I deleted my Hotmail email after I used it to make this chuds.life account. I will eventually delete my ProtonMail emails for being based in CERN. This chuds.life account was originally a chuds.life throwaway account. That is why I used a Hotmail email.

I use Startpage with DoubleVPN on NordVPN for BitChute, for chuds.life, for Encyclopædia Dramatica, and for YouTube.

I use Tor Browser for the rest of my internet activities.

Any advice for better online privacy?

Never trust a non-Christian software.

Personally, I would:
- Use I2P Whenever Possible (kohlchan supports it, idk about other sites)
- Use Tor When That Fails (far more common, can also access clearnet sites)
- Use Mullvad Over Tor When That Fails
- Give Up If None Of These Work
If Possible, I Would Also:
- Use Home IP For Normie Things (work, school, normie sites if you can successfully fake normieism without giving actually relevant info)
- Leech Off Of Neighbor's WiFi Or Public WiFi For Everything Else (use a different device, preferably a laptop, and always route over I2P, Tor, or Mullvad over Tor)

When possible, register to sites using GuerrillaMail instead of something like ProtonMail btw, just make a comically long username and only register on the scrambled addresses, and you'll likely be good on most sites. If that fails, go for cock.li and if that fails, try Proton again or just give up. I would stick to fully anon imageboards, along with sites that don't care whether or not you use a regular email when registering, but those sites are getting fewer and fewer especially if you don't know the owners of said sites well, thus have a way to get onto the site without being questioned for lack of a proper email. Anon imageboards would actually be perfect if 4chan allowed Tor or if altchans weren't dead outside of The Sharty and maybe Kohlchan, the former of which is very annoying to post on if you don't want stuff like JS enabled.

I will use Mullvad VPN now. Thank you.

Your welcome.

Note for Mullvad, it has a very good history of outright rejecting any attempt at leaking logs, in fact, it doesn't seem to take logs at all. Since you can use Mullvad over Tor, and you can pay in Monero or mailed in cash, it is *very* easy to pay for the service anonymously. IIRC, you can do it for like 10 years at a time too.

Isn’t this a bad idea because Tor with a VPN makes it easier for outsiders to pinpoint your location.
No, always connect to the Tor Browser before you connect to the Mullvad VPN. Never connect to the Mullvad VPN before you connect to the Tor Browser.

It is 'VPN over Tor,' not 'Tor over VPN.'

My point still stands. If Mullvad doesn’t keep logs then it’s fine, but I wouldn’t want to take a chance in case they change their mind.

I’ve been looking into ways to cut my digital footprint even more and figured I’d see if anyone has suggestions I haven’t considered. Right now, I run Firefox with hardened settings, Privacy Badger, and Trace for tracking protection. Mullvad VPN, paid in crypto. Linux, obviously. No social media or messaging apps cluttering my devices.

The goal is to minimize exposure without making daily use unbearable. I’ve thought about self-hosting email, but most services block custom domains unless you’re using a major provider. Also debating whether de-googled phones are worth the hassle long-term or if a dumb phone is the better move.
due stop messing with my montly CIA paycheck
