Me personally, since it’s on a different engine than the original I think it may lose some of the original jank the 2006 version had, which kinda made oblivion special in the first place. Also I feel sorry for the skyblivion dev team, niggas really worked on a full on remake of oblivion for the past decade only for them to get cucked by this kek.

The orginal Oblivion itself was a pretty generic looking medieval fantasy game but it's clunkiness and downright bizarre npc behaviours was what gave it it's charm, with that gone it'll be completely soulless.

I am looking forward to the remake. Oblivion is a great game held down by aged mechanics and limited accessibility. Any unfavorable changes in the re-release can easily be reverted with mods.
