After playing the game every other shooter that i played feels like shit because max payne 3's gameplay is superb and unmatched.
There's nothing more satisfying than playing as a sad, fat and old man gunning down multiple favela thugs, guido mafias and discount BOPE with a duel wielded smgs while doing it in stylish slow motion.
Max Payne is one of my favorite protagonist because he's a fat old gunslinger that constantly monologuing of how much of a loner he is but at the same time he can able to take an entire army all by himself and still dropping badass quotes at the same time.
Its has one of the best ragdoll physics(Euphoria) that i've ever seen in my life and makes the enemies you killed die in a unique and verciral ways and the gore may not have decapitation but when you shoot a person in the head it will leave a disgusting entry and exit bullet holes and even when you shoot them in the body area they would try and cover their bullet wounds like also they're desperate to not die and makes it the enemies have lives outside of combat.
The game's atmosphere, environment and soundtrack in each chapters that you fight in are all unique and diverse from one another from the bright and vibrant favela to the dark and rainy police station, it makes each level not boring or samey to look at and i honestly prefer the game mostly takes place in sunny Sao Paolo, Brazil instead of the dark, snowy and gloomy New York or even Moscow.
There's a few a flaws about the game like the unskippable and the extreme linearity in each levels but i still love the game.
