Mario clears. Death Battle didn't even list his strongest feats, he is at least moon level possibly planetary. Usually when I see sonic fans whining about the deathbattle they are either bringing up comic books that are not canon, or they're bringing up that he fought Solaris which is hardly meaningful as Mario and pretty much every long-running video game character (Cloud, Link, Kirby) has fought someone of a similar caliber before.

The super star makes Mario invincible as well. I think he has a little propeller suit that makes him fly in one of the DS games, too.

Not true, it just makes him really strong and fast. He has been hurt in super sonic form in many boss battles as well as in the Sonic Unleashed opening scene where his super sonic literally gets pwned by an Eggman gizmo

The super star makes Mario invincible as well. I think he has a little propeller suit that makes him fly in one of the DS games, too.

He has a lot of power ups that give him flight.

If Mario jumps into a hole, he dies. Sonic just has to dig a lot of booby traps and there goes Mario with or without the super star.
