Is the Steam Deck the ultimate gaming machine?

You can play all these steam games for a decent price, catch steam sales all the time where everything is dirt cheap, and ive heard you can even emulate old games from ps2 and such for free.

It’s the best portable gaming console, but compared to PC it’s trash. I tried playing Sonic Frontiers on one and it stuttered constantly. Plus, there’s no way to switch out parts if you want to upgrade.

What setup, adjusting the graphics before you play? That shouldn’t be the case if you have an average rig.

I know it works up to PS2 games. Wii era games might be iffy.

Shitty ports like new vegas require you to change your config for stuff like mouse acceleration o algo. But you typically get a console experience off the bat when you run a steam game without messing with the config.

A PC is a better investment than that overpriced tablet.
