have yall watched ongezellig

I have watched it, And the majority of people here have watched it for many reasons including being frequents of the sharty anyways it not really the best of shows it is sort of forced its not really that entertaining much either its really just mostly a meme show but anyways the animations is good

I would watch Ongezellig if it got more than two episodes, we have to live in the world where Vivziepop got two TV shows picked up by Amazon but Studio Massa couldn't get his shit together to make Ongezellig (a show thousands wanted to exist before it ever existed) and pitch it to any networks.

Both those shows are troon slop coal anyway.

Duh, but trooncore sells in 2024 apparently, go on X and you'll see there are thousands of Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel fans. People shouldn't be allowed to have personalized taste because their taste is bad, those people are half the reason why we didn't get a full season of Ongezellig.

Zellig was the other show I was referring to.

It's an average (and coal at worst) pilot episode, I mean, short film.
It never had a chance to be a series if we take in account Studio Massa's non-existent advertisement and his financial focus on a Dutch-version of Patreon. :cage:

Here's an actually factual and objective analysis of Ongezellig:

Maya
is literally an average degenerate, corn-addict and brown-skinned dude who uses Discord and 4cuck all day, but happens to be female. Given that 4cuckers liked Ongezellig before soycacas did, I suppose they identified with her in pretty much every aspect. You could see her as an example of the consequences of giving a child unrestricted internet access. She's also a bit of a jerk: she insulted her step-sister Coco for her orphan status and she didn't even bother to thank her or Mymy for making her History presentation.

Coco is your typical blonde, friendly / social female character who also happens to be incredibly naive, just to not say "dumb". She apparently interpreted Maya's search history as an actual "historical event" for her History presentation and didn't even think it was corn... Seriously? I almost forgot to mention she's tech-illiterate, as if she doesn't seem to be stereotypical enough.

Then there's Mymy... I'm pretty sure she's the main reason Ongezellig began to be shilled on the Sharty in the first place, because of: >Muh heckin' based racism! Her "silly" antics are only smirk-worthy if you see her as a parody of those "LARPer nationalists" you might encounter online, because she seems to be a self-insert of Massa (or seemed, because he «moved on from the show»). She's also the safe-edgy character of Ongezellig, since she's only racist towards Belgians and not you know who.

Their History teacher, Vera, is yet another middle-aged character who is going through their 40s crisis o algo, all because she didn't accomplish her dreams and became a wagie instead. There's not much to say about her, since apparently the drinks she consooms aren't actually alcohol (according to the wiki).

I don't know anything substantial about the background characters, so I won't comment much on them. They likely would've been slight-variants of the Coco and Mymy, because at least they all seem to be social, unlike Maya.

The only consistently «good» aspect is the art style, but that's expected to be good in animated media; so, no points for that. And the music is fine. That's it.
