Some green slime was infecting people and turning them into slime-human hybrids. I ran into some lab with a random soyentist who let me in and had all the doors sealed to keep them out. Felt realistic as hell.

Claws of Axos: it was entertaining but ultimately I felt it had a lot of missed potential. The Master barely does anything and the pink aliens were not that interesting. I thought the Doctor was going to go back in time with The Master which would’ve been way more interesting than him escaping again.

Colonists in Space was the arc I needed to reignite my passion. They finally made a story not set on Earth which helped with the plot fatigue this season was suffering through. I don’t have any complaints besides Jo being a stupid bitch as usual but that’s to be expected. And the Master was at his best here and didn’t feel shoehorned in like in Axos, though I was really rooting for the Doctor to team up with the Master at the end.

She exists to be a plot device and nothing else. In every arc she does something stupid and causes trouble for the doctor.

I gotta admit, The Daemons was terrible. I can’t say there was a single redeeming quality to it, just another “Master causes mayhem plot.”
