Finished FireRed after 20 hours. I annihilated the Elite 4 despite my level 48 team. Mostly using Venasaur to tank damage while using a combination of leech seed + sleep spore spam.

Definitely superior to HG due to better level balancing throughout the campaign.

I finished the Elite 4 rematch and caught Mewtwo, didn’t bother with the tower because it seemed like filler. I might move on to Emerald if I find nothing good to play.

I was big into pokemon as a kid and still am. Playing through ruby on my chinkheld but my save got wiped so I lost around 10 hours of progress and haven't gotten into it since. I really do enjoy them but I grew up with XY, feels outdated in comparison of my memory of XY. Sadly my 3DS broke so I can't replay it. I'm seeing if I can send it for repair for a while.
