Downloading half life 2

This game is dogshit and I prolly won't like it even if it's been like 5 years. Its weapon sound effects in gmod are ear shattering and absolutely annoying. The gameplay in general is just a huge downgrade. Anyway I'm unsure if I'll barrel on through to the end of the actual game (not episodes) or if it's going in the hidden list on steam.

I tried playing this game on the Orange Box on my PS3 a decade ago. For some reason I couldn’t get into it. The physics are fun and all, but the gameplay is so generic, that I’d rather just replay Doom.

Funnily enough this is the best part so far. Looks gorgeous honestly. Prolly the update fixed it. PS3 def had a lot of limitations. Not sure.

Uninstalled and hidden in games list. The sound effects are enough to keep me away. That awful smg sound, damn.

Maybe I should say the environments are the issue.

A lot of the game takes place in an industrial setting.

Compared to Metroid Prime 2 which was released that same year.

I love hl1. I also platinumed black mesa, even though I consider it worse. The minimalist plot of 1 mogs the stupid cutscenes of 2. Gameplay wipes the floor.
