Here in Mexico, more than 70% of the population is lactose intolerant (according to a quick search, the amount could be higher), and it's more prevalent in older adults than children and teenagers. I'm lactose tolerant; so is my younger brother, but I can't [obviously] speak for every brown-skin in here.

Funny enough, in my extended family, there are more relatives on my mother's side who are intolerant (except her) in comparison to my father's side (except him). My father's family were (and some still are) farmers, and part of the milk they used to drink was from their own cattle; thus, I find it hilarious that he ended up developing a lactose intolerance.

i don't like raw milk as much, not by intolerance but by the sweetness of it, i do eat a lot of yogurt and ice cream though, not pasteurized as far as i know
