Even if I have never used nor owned a firearm (Which I have) You still can Hypothetically in your mind evaluate a survival-scenario and you can also break down the reasons why you would need a firearm

  1. In order to defend yourself from wild animals and people if you are in a shtf scenario or war or civil-distress
  2. In order to hunt (Only as a last resort or if you need to if you can’t trap or can’t hunt via other means and this is only if you can not get anything from any other food-source
  3. To keep your self safe in any scenario with that shit by your side no matter who comes across your way/path
I could come up with more but it’s like late at night and I don’t want to write a whole paragraph on why
