Replayed 3 and World after a while, and also played 5 worlds of 1. I had a lot of fun at first but damn these games bore me out after a while. Dying isn't fun in them, I don't feel like I improve at the levels. The ending levels are just garbage. The music is only fine and the visuals are kinda the same. The truth is that mario only has gameplay going for him and the level design is awful and blatantly outdated (pick a door, maze castle).

Turnip mario is the exception.
