If he does, prices on components would probably spike overnight. Though tariffs usually get announced way in advance, and there’s usually a lot of back-and-forth before then. I'd keep a close eye on what he does but I wouldn't be too worried right now.

I haven't upgraded for years, modern games run like shit on my system. I have to reduce the resolution and play on lowest settings just for BO6 to be barely playable.

No, it isn't. On console you have to pay a premium to play online for the games you already paid for. A console might be $400. For $400, I can build a pc that can play most games 1080p 60 if I buy used parts. I've just got a lot of cash now so I'd like to upgrade my current build. When I say barely playable, I'm getting over 100fps on BO6, but I want more. Under 100 FPS is not enjoyable and simply not playable for me anymore.
