Basically, Eastern and Central European countries never got to reach the prosperity Western nations had after WW2. Where the West had a boom of young, progressive teens shifting the culture away from traditionalism, the Eastern people were just thankful they were able to survive the power struggle between the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. So they were less inclined to care about the struggles of LGBT, racism, and the patriarchy when their countries needed to be rebuilt.

They still have problems with wokeness creeping in today but it hasn’t reached the extent of what we have in the West. I still urge you to watch the video as he goes a lot more in-depth. Preferably with subtitles because I found the audio a bit difficult to understand.
