I think some of these dead bedroom scenarios come from men who settled and don't find their partner attractive (if porn becomes such an issue you start avoiding your partner, duties as a partner etc) and women have a hard time coping with this notion. I could be wrong, though, but the fact that porn addiction is not recognized as a true addiction in the big disorder book is telling
You could be in a relationship w a woman you don't find attractive for different reasons, I got together w one when I was (very) young before manletism was an issue and she was pretty ugly. I'm going to try to get a girlfriend in the months to come once I start work, there's no one to ground me to reality now + it's time to stop being single and attractiveness is not something I'd consider
