Books & Articles What books have you read so far?

A few of those books were self-published as Amazon Kindle ebooks so their ebook file format is .azw3 instead of PDF. It's easy to convert a pirated azw3 to a PDF though, using Calibre on PC or any online converter found by Googling.

For physical copies thriftbooks and abebooks usually offer cheaper options than buying new from amazon.
:fuckingshit: Fuck internet archive for doing this.

Are you guys niggers? Is that why you're illiterate? Can somebody else besides me and @IntolerantSocialist list more than 5 books that they like?

Better to go book-by-book with a thorough description of each so a sense can be had of their contents and worth. Regardless, 5 books I'd recommend to anyone who uses this thread frequently:

Schopenhauer, Die Welt als Wille und Vorstellung (World As Will and Representation): have grown to disagree with his system pretty significantly, but remains a distinctly fruitful starting point for developing an interest in philosophy, with an immense collection of leads on different ideas and source material.

Spengler, Der Untergang Des Abendlandes (Decline of the West): see above.

Céline, Journey to the End of the Night: likely the best introductory work for a bitter, caustic personality to develop an interest in literature.

Melville, Moby-Dick: unquestionably the Great American Novel. Written with a perspicacity that comprehends even issues that the author himself did not fully intend. One wishes Melville's other novels measured up.

Herodotus, Histories: a wealth of historical information, illustrative examples for the modern's consideration, and one of the classical works most likely to be able to hold a newer or non-enthusiast reader's attention.

i don’t necessarily disagree but you have to wonder why women aren’t told to keep their legs closed while if you’re a man society considers you entitled if you desire sexual freedom. It’s Bogus.

Feminism is tranny shit. That's why Hitler has a pussy and a fake mustache.

dead sea scrolls is a fraud, only a normie would bring up that topic, you want me to destroy you or you wanna research it yourself? up to you....
Well, I wasn't sure if you knew about it. Considering how much of a "man of scripture" you are, I thought you would want to know about the supposed earliest version of the bible, as it might hold some interesting information and insight. Although I would like to know about how the text is a fraud.

Nah he's chinese and pretends to be german.
Stop projecting your own behaviour on me weirdo. You're the one who claims to be a "real German" whenever your Amerimutt retard ass feels like lying about yourself instead of Hitler for a change.
One of the parasite normies that would kill for ideology because he's too beta to study shit for himself...
Absolutely ironic coming from a guy who copypastes paragraphs from Wikipedia without acknowledging they're copypasta and falls for fake quotations attributed to Hitler in 84 year old anti-Hitler propaganda 🙄 Just admit you hate studying because you think that nerd stuff is beta, ya gweilo bum

Melville, Moby-Dick: unquestionably the Great American Novel. Written with a perspicacity that comprehends even issues that the author himself did not fully intend. One wishes Melville's other novels measured up.
I was (am still) under the impression that Moby-Dick acquired its reputation as the Great American Novel owing to the self-serving promotion of Herman Melville by Ivy League English professors and scholars in the 1910s and 20s, who had exhausted all interesting research leads on Nathaniel Hawthorne, and needed to find another native-born man of letters to spill ink over. Moby-Dick was rejected by American readers when it was published and received little notice by critics and opinion-makers of the day. Similarly, the other widely-touted Great American Novel The Great Gatsby flopped in the free market when it was first published in 1925, and became popular mainly because the US Army issued many cheaply-made copies to GIs during WW2.

I could not claim familiarity with the exact circumstances and motivations behind the "Melville revival", but I would unreservedly state that the book has earned its latterly acquired reputation. It's a vast, compendious work that far exceeds any of Hawthorne's, as indebted to his influence as Melville himself was. To my view, there is no work in American literature that exceeds its realized or even attempted scope until you hit the age of logorrheal self-referential tail-chasers like Pynchon.

Moby-Dick was rejected by American readers when it was published and received little notice by critics and opinion-makers of the day.

I wouldn't take this as a mark either for or against the merit of a particular work (some will claim "deep and profound jeniuses" are necessarily misunderstood in their own age, which is just as ridiculous as the notion that they are necessarily celebrated therein). Examples abound of both cases (the posthumous fame of Gogol, Dostoevsky, Nietzsche and the immediate recognition of Dickens, Goethe, and Schiller).

In this case, Melville's earlier adventure novels were far more popular in his time than the unquestionably more complex Moby-Dick - and now only the latter is known to the lay reader.

Similarly, the other widely-touted Great American Novel The Great Gatsby flopped in the free market when it was first published in 1925, and became popular mainly because the US Army issued many cheaply-made copies to GIs during WW2.

I would say that one is self-evidently mediocre; in the case of Moby-Dick, one must at least accept the learnedness of its author, the fluency of its diction, and the richness of its suggestions. Going back to what I mentioned about "significant beyond even what the author may have intended", I tend to read the novel as a racial allegory, which it undoubtedly is at least in part (cf. in particular "The Whiteness of the Whale").

I don't know how to rotate an image, and I'm too lazy to look it up or take another picture.

Just read the first two pages, where Michael Moorcock talks a little bit about Elric and what it represents. Not only does he complain about Magaret Thatcher, but he then proceeds to go full "imperialism bad." Sad to see that Michael Moorcock is more of a Michael Moorcuck, but still exited to read nevertheless.

There is no debunking it. It was literally a treaty, signed into law. You're in a religious cult, it produces nothing but hate, no real change, no results, just internet QQ'ing over and over again. You can't even handle basic facts without twisting and manipulating to maintain your illusion of faggotry.

The Reichskonkordat is a treaty negotiated between the Vatican and the emergent Nazi Germany. It was signed on 20 July 1933 by Cardinal Secretary of State.

“The Fuhrer had come to power, thanks to the votes of the Catholic Zentrum [Center Party overseen by Jesuit Ludwig Kaas], only five years before 1933, but most of the objectives cynically revealed in Mein Kampf were already realized; this book . . . was written by the Jesuit controlled Father Bernhardt Stempfle and signed by Hitler. For it was the Society of Jesus which perfected the famous Pan-German programme as laid out in this book, and the Fuhrer endorsed it.”

The Reichskonkordat is the most controversial of several concordats that the Vatican negotiated during the pontificate of Pius XI. It is frequently discussed in works that deal with the rise of Hitler in the early 1930s and the Holocaust. The concordat has been described by some as giving moral legitimacy to the Nazi regime soon after Hitler had acquired quasi-dictatorial powers through the Enabling Act of 1933, an Act itself facilitated through the support of the Catholic Centre Party.

In January 1933, Hitler became Chancellor. The passing of the Enabling Act on 23 March, in part, removed the Reichstag as an obstacle to concluding a concordat with the Vatican. Hitler offered the possibility of friendly co-operation promising not to threaten the Reichstag, the President, the States, or the Churches if granted the emergency powers. With Nazi paramilitary encircling the building, he said: "It is for you, gentlemen of the Reichstag to decide between war and peace." The Act allowed Hitler and his Cabinet to rule by emergency decree for four years, though Hindenberg remained President

“Why would the Jesuits use their implacable enemy, the Jews, to further their designs for world dominion? The Jesuits never do anything out in the open where they can be exposed. If they are recognized as the culprits, they will be blamed and suffer the consequences, but if they can use someone else as the ‘cause of the world’s problems’, especially an enemy they can destroy in the process, then they have simultaneously accomplished two of their objectives. The Jewish people are the perfect scapegoat. Since the Rothschilds are Jesuit agents operating under a Jewish cover, using them [i.e., the Rothschilds] in forming the Illuminati back in 1776 effectively throws the onus of this conspiracy on the Jews. The Rothschilds are certainly not the only Jesuit agents that operate under a Jewish front.” – William Sutton

Who are the Jesuits

You larp the same religion as the pagan priests at the Vatican lol.

That little pagan zucchetto skullcap which you see on the heads of “Jews”, Catholic religious leaders, and Muslims, was anciently called the Cap of Hermes and the Cap of Cybelle; and is one of the oldest and most sacred pagan religious symbols of their rebellious humanity. Which aligns with the fact that the pagan priest class created the new age Jewish religion, Catholicism, and Islamic religions. The funny part is Jew’s didn’t even adopt the kippah tradition until around 1215, when the Pope had already been wearing it for over 1000 years and the Muslims about 500 years. In most cases it wasn’t even worn by most Jews until the 1940’s when the first knitted kippah was made popular by Rabbi Moshe-Zvi Neria. Just a coincidence that the pagan priest class created the State of Israel around the same time? Nope. The reality is the kippah does not have its origins in Jewish law OR the Bible yet some people still have the audacity to claim the “Jews” own the Vatican because the Pope wears this pagan zucchetto skullcap.

You already used that copypasta in another thread here dumbass. https://chuds.life/threads/the-plan-of-jewish-supremacist-enslavement-of-goyim.1598/#post-19296

The Reichskonkordat was disadvantageous to the Vatican. It limited their political influence within Germany to the lowest extent since the Protestant Reformation. You don't know anything about the Reichskonkordat if you think a treaty banning the Vatican from criticism of the NSDAP government and barring Catholic clergy from participating in German politics is evidence of Hitler supporting the Vatican LOL.

If you're going to plagiarise Wikipedia read the whole damn article, like how it explains "Nazis planned to eliminate the Church's influence by restricting its organizations to purely religious activities" and everything after the paragraph you copypasted about the Enabling Act:

Hitler was hostile to the Catholic Church, but he was also mindful that Catholics were a large proportion of the population in Germany: almost 40% in 1933. As such, for political reasons, Hitler was prepared to restrain his anticlericalism and did not allow himself to be drawn into attacking the Church publicly as other Nazis would have liked him to do. Kershaw wrote that, following the appointment of Hitler as Chancellor by President von Hindenberg, the Vatican was anxious to reach agreement with the new government, despite "continuing molestation of Catholic clergy, and other outrages committed by Nazi radicals against the Church and its organisations".

Robert Ventresca wrote that because of increasing harassment of Catholics and Catholic clergy, Cardinal Pacelli sought quick ratification of a treaty with the government, seeking in this way to protect the German Church. When Vice-Chancellor Papen and Ambassador to the Vatican Diego von Bergen met Pacelli in late June 1933, they found him "visibly influenced" by reports of actions being taken against German Catholic interests.

Adopting similar headgear at different time periods isn't evidence of anything weirdo. You're the only retard who claims a link between “Jews” and the Vatican on account of the Pope's shitty fashion sense.

driving exam book i will never read jfl
im too much of a pussy and idiot to be able to drive without running over someone or crashing
public transport mogs eternally

how do they allow that there doe
(((bezos))) wouldnt be happy about it
Pretty much any book can be on there except for some white-supremacist, and some (((anti-semetic))) works. The Great Replacement has been scrubbed off the face of the earth, to the point that I can't find any way to read it. If you go on internet archive, you'll find a PDF saying that it was removed due to (((mass shootings))) related to the book. Although comically, you can't find Mein Kampf on amazon, which is retarded to me. Surprisingly, far-right content is pretty much completely safe from what I can tell.

Don't know who tarrant is. I'm talking about the original great replacement book by Renaud Camus, which I believe was about the replacement of whites in France.

oh, i think tarrant's book was named the same, but have you ever found a digital copy of that french book? and when was it written?

the best shitposter to ever live

I tried looking for Tarrant's manifesto as well, although I didn't know it had the same name. Do you have a link to either works? I can't find either of them for the life of me. From what I know, it seems that Tarrant's manifesto has a section on right-wing accelerationism, which is a sparsely talked about subject(left-wing accelerationism is way more talked about, which makes sense) that is of great interest to me.

i found a cut out version of the manifesto but according to some sources the original is 74 pages

@Karenin thoughts on GRECE?
Do NOT read this book. Despite the french new right not liking the name and saying that they're neither left nor right, this book is very left-leaning. They literally say that everybody should be given a certain amount of money per year, without having to do any work. The only part of this book I liked was the pioneering of Ethnopluralism, which was pretty interesting. About 80-90% of this book is quite left-leaning.

its just Nouvelle Droite. French people can't really do right wing politics, even by American standards. after De Maistre, everything got tainted by shades of red.

is there any really good ancient history in the vein of Herodotus that plays to myths more than dry academic texts? I read Ranke and it was very boring.
