Eternity is forever, has no start or end

I am not in heaven nor hell as of now, thus implies my time in one of those places will start

Eternity doesn't have a start

Am I missing something?

Eternity doesn't have a start
Where did you learn that eternity has no beginning? Did God not give life a beginning by forming it? He has no beginning, for He is the Godhead, a being of incomprehensible qualities including time, yet our souls are formed with the conception of life by the will and power of God, thus having a start, as will eternity then have a start in the context of being a state of existence that is unending, which will be unlike mortal life (which has an ending, with worldly death), and which is the time following the return of Christ. So, eternal life does begin by the return of the soul to the judgement of Christ, rather through His coming in the end days, which will return it to Him, or through the soul's departure from the mortal coil in a time prior to the end days, which returns it to the judgement of God prior to His return to the wretched Earth. Thus, eternity does have a start.

Eternity isn’t just “a really long time” but rather the absence of time as we know it. When we enter eternity (whether heaven or hell), it isn’t that eternity “starts” for us, but rather that we step out of time entirely.

Think of it like joining an eternal melody. The melody didn’t start when you began listening, nor does it end when you stop. It simply is. Time is what creates the illusion of a beginning and an end, but eternity exists outside that framework.
