Graphics are bad even by the standards of their time. This would be okay if the artstyle was unique but it's so bland and unmemorable. Somehow Nintendo games had better graphics.

Of course it would succeed. That doesn't mean it's good. Besides the fun physics, I felt nothing was groundbreaking when I played through the games for the first time five years ago.

Well it has good graphics and the physics themselves are why the game is fun, dismissing that the story is interesting and the ambience is unmatched, I don't think any other games have managed to replicate it
