That's how it will always end up. Capitalism promotes amorality and disincentives moral conduct. Take two entrepreneurs, one who is determined to lead his company as morally as possible, and one who is ready to treat people like garbage and do anything within his legal right to maximize profits. By simply having more options, the immoral entrepreneurs will surpass the moral one and likely drive him out of the market. Capitalism filters morality, the winners are all those who were willing to make decisions moral people didn't. Not that I have a solution to propose , it ain't like we can go back to serfdom or somethingCapitalism can work when coupled with a sense of responsibility to God and neighbor. Without them, capitalism drifts toward exploitation, greed, envy, and treating people as commodities rather than as bearers of the image of God.
What about a mixed-economy? Social safety nets can be in place for those who need to get back on their feet. That's how it will always end up.
