I'm still going to post because I want to support this place to spite neets.net in any way I can however this forum isn't really what I was looking for

It feels like the majority of the posts on here are feds now and the actual userbase has gone back to neets or somewhere else. The site feels extremely low trust and edgy exactly like NCU felt. I thought this would be another neets.net with high trust threads and a cozy enviroment but its basically turned into an edgelord site. I feel drained when I browse here now instead of feeling positive vibes like I did on neets. Yes neets.net was a honeypot but it was more proactive.

Mods being dipshits alone won't inspire users to create and post only in groupchats though, because people only create groupchats for users they know fairly well and can trust not to report their messages to jannie. True, you need a mix. The opposite can also be said as nobody wants to join a forum thats edgy. At least if the forum has a steady influx of users the DMs won't impact the forum too much. The most important thing is imagery, anime is a way to drown out feds and hostile posters.
