Books/Articles Reading my first book in 3 years

It's called Feliz Ano Velho. My dad gave me it, and that's why I'm reading it over the other stuff I own. It's an autobiography of a guy that became disabled by jumping on a puddle like Scrooge McDuck.

Last time I read one was Animal Farm and it was pseud garbage. Genuinely just not a noteworthy book. Orwell also sided with the subhuman Spanish Marxists.

The last time I read a book to its completion was about 15 years ago.

Went to book store yesterday and bought like 7-8 books. Came across one that's about Turkish-Soviet military cooperation between 1919-1922 and it immediately caught my interest. Author claims he used documents that were previously unknown for this book. I suppose I'll see about that when I read it.

I bought Mein Kampf and a Stevie Wonder album at the same time.

Based, keyed even.

I usually don't read books from start to finish, although it depends on if you care about "finished" being "literal last page" or don't care if I just don't read 10 pages of obvious, worthless goyslop in most books. Considered getting an eReader though, I just pirate books these days because it's easier to obtain PDFs/ePUBs for free than actual, good physical books. There's a few I still want to obtain physically, like The C Programming Language, otherwise most of the books I'd want physical are owned by me in physical form already. I may actually sell some of what I have, mostly the books I got for really cheap but didn't end up enjoying.

Public schools push this book so hard for some reason. I think I was forced to read through it twice throughout middle and high school.
I read that one about halfway through and liked it well enough, but then I never read it again. Embarrassing part is that I bought it myself after graduating high school.

No, it is embarrassing that you only read halfway through a hundred-page book.
