Holy shit you couldn't write anything more unfunny than the Papyrus and Sans parts of the game. The music is pretty good but allegedly there was a lot of plagiarism. The cutesy doggy dog shit is absurdly annoying and feminine. Some enemies are actually pretty funny I admit, and the core gameplay is engaging enough.

the bullet hell (if it can be called infernal even) aspect is really the thing that make it slightly worth playing
only fun fights are the genocide and neutral boss ones but even those are a cakewalk after you spend more than 30 minutes on them

To be fair, Toby said in a discord screencap that he didn't add any gay characters (might have been deltarune) on purpose so the game wouldn't offend anyone. Bold of him to say.

Another thing the reviewers don't say is that the graphics are dogshit for 2015. Look at any arcade game and tell me it's worse graphics than this game.
