Philipp Mainländer | The Most Depressing Philosopher

I read the 1989 version of his book, the Philosophie der Erlösung ("Philosophy of Redemption") and it really opened my eyes to the purpose of suffering and decay. Highly recommend for anyone even slightly into philosophy.

Tldr for people like me who have never picked up a book in his life?

His philosophy is about the prospect of redemption and hope. He's known for being a hardcore pessimist, but that's far from the truth. It only makes sense if you read his work as simplifying his words doesn't do him justice.
how long is the book
