I bought full price sharttoon 2 and I can't play it anymore because the online is expensive and it's fucking dead. 3 is the exact same fucking game. Genuine greed. I particularly don't get why the cattle are *now* worshipping Nintendo to the extent they do due to the Nintendo Switch. No one buys Nintendo for 3rd party games unless they're retarded or going for the occasional gem like Phantasy Star Online, yet on the Switch, most of the console's games are ripped directly from the Wii U (Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, NSMBU/NSLU Deluxe, etc), or, sequels to Wii U games that are almost exactly like the original (Splatoon 2/3 and Super Mario Maker 2 in particular). And for all of these several year old, or even over decade old games, they're resold at full-price for whatever reason.

Nintendo could sell some of these people literal oxygen, and they'd pay $300 for it.
