The truth of things that have nothing to do with the lives of average people. You're just misrepresenting what I've said to make it sound like I've said something stupid. So what if the Earth was shaped like my balls or if the moon landing was faked? It doesn't mean anything to the average Joe.
Knowing physics actually does give you an edge in metaphysics(shit everybody cares about). For example you can pull off cool analyses like these. Things like evolution, psychology and cosmology have greatly shaped our metaphysical views as a society. Also by knowing individual truths you can make assessments on how trustworthy certain institutions are in general.
