By making their game overbloated and infested with bugs on release so it won't be worth the effort of pirating and patching it.

Hoholker 2 is out, but I have literally no intention to even pirate it due to how bloated and buggy this shit is in the current state. I'm unironically thinking of actually paying a streaming service for both this and the upcoming KCD 2.

Don't bend the knee to these companies. Besides, I doubt these games are worth a minute of your time.
KCD 2 looks neat ngl and I like the first one, stalker 2 however is quite meh, stalker games are always mediocre at best.
I thought you didn’t play modern gaymes.
I don't for the majority of them, that's why I'm planning to only subscribe the streaming service for a month, finishing those two games then unsub it.

nvm, Stalker 2 looks like shit that isn't even worth for free, and my ancient PC might be able to run KCD 2 since it uses the same engine as the first one. Not paying for the modern gaming gig kikes as always.

Decided to try this shit out with repack download from fitgirl, with this optimization mod https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/899?tab=description it actually runs on my ancient PC, managed to finished it without encountering any major glitches (the ward route 'cos the Zone sucks). And holy shit this game sucks so bad, the game too fucking bloated with too many fucking enemies. after the half way (SIRCAA) it fully degenerates into cover shooter #1468 with 1.5km+ of distance between missions, and over half of main story quests are dungeon crawling shit. I have to lower the difficulty to easy and basically forced myself to finish it. Not recommend even without all the glitches, and this is coming from someone who has multiple playthrough on the original trilogy.

There is no point in buying salolker if you are russian or belarussian, who knows when devs will just shut it down to finally defeat der putler... by not letting bunch of middle schoolers play some game.
it sucks anyway, like sucks so much that I'd rather play Far Cry New Dawn over this shit and I hate the nuFarCry. Just download the original trilogy on gog-games.to

Also didn't the developers said that flying object bug is a game feature and that you have hallucinations in Chernobyl or something?

That’s God’s way of telling you to never touch a modern game again.

Open world is a meme, but even back then in 2014 an open shooter would only take 8-16 hours to beat if you are going for main quests only, now they are at least two times as long.
Tsmt, every game that's open world is mid at best, and game series that go from zones to open worlds always become crappier after the transition. All an open world does is add a bunch of stupid wandering and players trying to find the fastest way to move. They're a vain attempt to try to recapture childhood wonder when everything felt bigger but all it does is make games aimless and bloated.

So true, most of these open world games just feel like they're wasting your time. At least games with interesting movement can make it work (GTA with driving or dying light with parkour) but a lot of the others just feel like they don't respect your time, like they were made for kids who could spend unreasonable amounts of time "immersing" themselves in the world.

Going to bed at 9pm so I can get up early to go fishing, all while not giving a fuck about modern trash games. :chudarisee:
I just wake up to repeat and talk stuff in my head about shot that happened a century to 50 years ago that does not relate to modern day but I try to justify all day everyday I just repeat the same conversations in my head all over and over again same ones too
