Basically title.

I returned to curryland from the civilized world, with an MSc in a specialized niche. It's hard to get into the industry, specially now, and the technical exams are tough and my BSc didn't prepare me for it and my MSc was mostly research based.

Now, I got this interview, the first interview was remote.
Then they called me to their office. I did not like the idea and there were tons of red flags.
Like they had a group photo where it was just a bunch of cringe curries standing together awkwardly.
Then after the interview, they asked me to name my salary on Whatsapp, which was HELLA SUS.
But since I need money, and this was a senior position, AND they said I was the "most qualified" person they interviewed so for, so I asked for around 1600 USD.
They replied a few days later saying that is over the budget for the project.
I asked them how much they can pay.
A week later they said it was 600 USD. GUH
And mind you, this is NOT REMOTE. And I asked them if it's 9 - 5. And they said they normally come at 8:30 at stay till 5:30. BRUH
Which is why asked for such a high amount.
And the owner of this company makes nearly 600K USD a year.
Anyway they said they will let discuss it and let me know.
That was nearly 2 MONTHS ago.
Today they asked me if I can come for an interview with their COO tomorrow. JFL
Said I'll be there.
I haven't started the Job and I'm not even sure IF I will and I already regret this.
Specially since I did the math and I will be spending 116 USD on ubers. Buses are Cheaper, but I will lose about 4 hours of each day. JFL

Should I take this Job or not, Brocels?

I would say yes, at least for now. If I had a choice, I would do anything else other than office work. The politics and the gossiping is too overbearing if you’re not a socially extroverted person.
