Never have I seen a more autistic "fandom" ever, they hate heterosexual men more than anything and they are like neckbeards, because it's adults and teenagers watching shows for literal 8 year olds, Bronies type stuff.

You aren't in the target audience for any "magical girl animes", those tumblrites are.
Well yeah, I get that, Sailor Moon naturally entices online radfem progressives
For example, sailor moon forums is full of actual schizo spergs who they Ron DeSantis is gonna ban sailor moon because it has gay characters and he is literally Satan to them
This isn't a strawman, it's the first thing I saw when I clicked on the site, back when it was Christmas, the people literally said "Happy non-specific religious holiday" unironically

I remember reading a review for a book and they said something like "I'm giving this book a shot even though I don't trust male protagonists." I don't know if the reviewer was a tranny or a woman, but it betrays something beyond a fixation.

Here's what I mean by fixation. I can get really into a type of fiction, like low fantasy or isekai ("Wowee! a person from a world like mine is in the story!") and that is honestly what I thought was going on with these types of people. I thought they consumed some media that they thought was really gemmy and they're chasing after anything that might be like it.

But if they are really doing it to avoid things that happen in other media... that's something else. Are male protagonists really that bad, that often? Even those that are definite heroes, not antiheroes/villains? Maybe they just find it more disappointing to abandon a series they became invested in.
ESL thread title btw. The plural of anime is anime btw you racist
