I beat it twice on ps2 emulators but man I loved the HD version (played on original PS3 hardware). 100% the best way to play it. I don't recommend the original version. If only for the letterboxing.

I actually did it on hard with game overs on alert. The achievement didn't pop cause one of the mandatory alerts parts needs you to get jiggy with it or some shit, idk I looked up if something counts as an alert and saw a warning of that part. Didn't listen.
I'm used to MGS4 since I played it 4 times to get foxhound rank (I got it) and it doesn't have the euro extreme thing. So I saved every 2 to 4 screens.
