Gaming Finished Elden Ring’s DLC. What now?

I played BOTW and TOTK, and have probably over 100 combined hours in them. It's not bad or anything, but it did not deserve awards. First of all, on any other console the graphics would be considered dogshit. Pretty much every Switch game suffers tremendously just because it has to fit on the Switch and have Switch graphics. The combat is okay, one thing it does way better than Soulslikes is archery which seems to suck in Souls games because you have no aiming sights and the arrows go like 10 miles per hour. It also has good puzzles but otherwise the combat is pretty basic. The durability element sucks, I don't think anyone who played those games liked it and it just has no reason to exist. At least in Dark Souls when an item breaks you can just go get it fixed. In BOTW every item except the Master Sword breaks and even the Master Sword "runs out of power". Lastly, I hate the storyline for TOTK/BOTW. "Zelda without the triforce" is so gay and having Hyrule being founded by these furry goat fucks is also gay, but it appeals to all of the commiepedotroons in the Zelda fanbase. The triforce is supposed to be a physical reference to the primary qualities of reality, without it the world falls to shit and eventually dies as is seen in Link Between Worlds.

Worst Link we've had too. In most other games he is just a small town or country boy, it's meant to resonate with the audience who are children from mostly insignificant origins. Now he's Zelda's winebarred beta bitch palace knight who she was mean to back before the calamity. She even wears pants, which is not ladylike. And she talks like a 35 year old woman. Link is also very fraile in this game, in other. Link is also BLUE in this game. WTF!!!!

Very true. I liked the exploration a lot but pre-BOTW is superior in every other regard. I think it’s pretty good compared to whatever open world stuff Sony makes these days which is why I suggested it.

Haven’t played TOTK but I never felt the weapon durability was that big of a deal in BOTW. It’s fun to throw shit at enemies and watch them fly off the platform as the weapon bursts into pieces. If we were forced to use the Master Sword the whole time it would be a lot more stale I think.
