Hubris is a nasty bedfellow
First time it was for the mic that has erectile dysfunction keeps falling and no one can hear what I say. Then I had to put actual duct tape and now it kinda falls and people tell me they can't hear me, but better than before. Then today the foam cushion at the top unglued so I had to put 2 pieces of tape to stick it.

NEVER buy GroyperX, this shit sucks.

One of the foam muffs of my headphones randomly fell off one day back in November and since then I've just hung it on my ear before sliding them on. It looks funny but it works.
I drew a diagram in case my words are confusing. The detached muff is able to just hang there on my ear so that then when I put the headset on it aligns with it perfectly.

Had a cheap asf wireless headset, the metal band inside flexed so hard it broke the plastic shell loose which caused the entire left speaker/muff assembly to fall apart... thing is with plastic you can just bond superglue to it and it was as good as new, wrapped electrical tape around it too just to make sure lasted me a good bit...

now, I have some audio technica headphones, ath ad700x studio headphones. they r definitely better than gaming headphones/headsets, you can get good studio headsets cheap on fb marketplace (under $50 if u find good deal).

4 mic just buy a dedicated one, it doesn't have to be good, they even make ones you can attach to your headphones just like a microphone. Some dude I know has a nasally, unpleasant voice... xhe spent a lot on a microphone, don't be that guy. not every1 is a content creator and that's okay

did do that too with a headset some years back and i gave it to my little cousin when i got new ones eventually
i did explain to him they worked perfectly if you did that but i guess he either ended its already short life, got new ones or my mom intercepted it because i would look like a piece of shit or something

i had these corsair headphones that shit the bed after 1 year

i have the razer kraken thatve worked for 6 years now and theyre still good
