Frightful but also quite delightful
The Planet of the Apes is about Apes being at the top of the food chain and humans being on the bottom of the food chain. The Apes attack and put humans in cages etc. the roles being reversed a lot like how Israel took over Palestine and became on top of the foodchain.
The filmed is filmed in a desert, it looks like Israel/Palestine. The Apes say they have never gone beyond the desert, similar to how Israel is surrounded by desert.
At the end we see a New York statue, signifying US support
