Taking a look at the recent school shooters, there’s no doubt that these kids are the ugly ‘losers’ at their school. They probably don’t get much social interaction IRL, so maybe they resort to going online and end up on 4chan and other echo chambers.
Now, if the other kids had just invited these “losers” over to their lunch table and interacted with them for just 30 minutes a day, I doubt he would have so much hatred towards other students. These school shooters are usually very lonely people who probably get bullied, and even if they don’t, they’re completely ostracised from other students.
Therefore, I find it wildly hypocritical when teenagers advocate for gun control as if it is the only solution to stop school shootings when it doesn’t even take that much effort to invite someone in who may be having a hard time fitting in.
