Really? PCSX2 ran well for me and I have a 1050 and ryzen 3. RPSC3 runs AWFUL on me, like genuine 10fps. You might want to try the master collection if you don't own a ps3, as it's just the ps3 version with some improvements. Other emulators definitely chug more than PCSX2.

Also note that used ps3s are really cheap.
