I think we underestimate how much black people find that term offensive. They have an inferiority complex due to they way they are percieved so are hypersenative about it. When you use those words they go aggro because they are taking out all their bent up anger and anxiety out on you. Liberils use the term for social and political gain so will virtue signal if you use it in their presence like here. Its also to protect themselves from the mob and be on the right side of history. I personally don't think people would say it as much if people didn't try to police it.
